Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

WonderED (“WonderED”, “we”, “us”) is a personalized child-development platform for families with children aged 1–15 (the “Service”). These Terms are an agreement between WonderED and the adult who creates an account (the “Guardian”, “you”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts are for adults; profiles are for children

3. Parental consent for child data

Creating a child profile requires your explicit, recorded consent to the processing of that child's play data as described in the Privacy Policy. Each consent records the policy version you accepted. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal stops further collection and lets you export and delete the child's data.

4. What the Service is — and is not

WonderED offers play-based activities, observation tools, progress reflections, and parent guidance built on published developmental research.

Activities involving physical play, kitchens, tools, water, or public spaces include safety notes, but you remain responsible for your child's real-world supervision and safety at all times.

5. Plans, billing, and refunds

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) attempt to access other families' data or probe the Service's security except via responsible disclosure to us; (c) reverse engineer, scrape at scale, resell, or build datasets from the Service or its curriculum; (d) upload content that is unlawful, harmful to children, or infringing; (e) misrepresent guardianship of a child. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice where practicable.

7. Your content and your child's data

Reflections, recordings, drawings, and project artifacts your family creates (“Family Content”) belong to your family. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you and to operate the features you use. Voice and drawing capture happen on-device where the feature says so. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage information — never Family Content, never identifiable child data — to improve activities.

8. Our content

The WonderED curriculum, activities, mechanics, software, and branding are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Printables may be printed for your own family's (or licensed institution's) non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.

9. Availability and changes

The Service is under active development. We may add, change, or retire features, and maintenance may interrupt availability. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid plan's value, and you may cancel with a pro-rata refund in that case.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period (or ₹2,000 if you paid nothing).

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time; closure triggers the data-deletion process in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate for material breach. Sections 7, 8, 10, and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum where you live. Contact us first — most issues resolve quickly and informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before taking effect, with a new version number. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

14. Contact

Support: [email protected] (interim development-phase contact; a dedicated support address will replace this at commercial launch).
